Dear 5R Community,

This is just a quick update to share a letter from the nurses department. We have a confirmed case of scarlet fever in Gr 2 and two cases of strep throat in Gr 1 & 5. For your information, I’m attaching a letter with some helpful details about scarlet fever. Stay healthy!

Also, last week 5R finally met with our first grade buddy class. We had a fun, autumn time playing in the woods together. It’s always remarkable to see fifth graders switch into care-giving, nurturing roles with younger students. I’ve shared a number of photos from this event here.
